Meghan Yates
MEGHAN YATES recorded her debut release 'ONE OF THESE DAYS' here this month and we're truly amazed. She is an ex-portland now providence based artist whose unique voice is reminiscent of absolutely nothing you've ever heard; she's world class. bjork and feist jammin' out with a nylon guitar? some billie or sarah vaughan thrown in for good measure? I really have no idea to be honest, but it's achingly powerful. she drops the disc on oct. 31st at Slainte Wine Bar in portland.

Travis Cyr
acousta-funky-folk-grass
straight on til morning at the yacht club. his new release 'A Gentle Force' is winning the hearts of jam band lovers, folk lovers, bluegrass lovers, songwriting lovers, and lovers.

Yeah Ok
smart indie pop
the current 4 person lineup of yeah ok has played together since january of this year and is developing a sort indie pop sound influenced by the likes of yo la tengo, steely dan, dinosaur jr, and others. born out of the acoustic coffee scene that helped establish acts like dead end armory, moses atwood, samuel james, line of force, anna's ghost, and others, yeah ok released the first of what they anticipate being a series of relatively frequent EP's in may of 2007.
